Anyone know about how much the speedo is off on this sled. I heard vipers are off about 14% and that seems to track with my radar runs last year on the viper. I saw 102 speedo of the "98" XTC 500 Deluxe that my daughter normally rides this weekend. It ran at 7800 up to the last 5 mph then rose to 8000 like I was out of gears. It Currently has 21/38 geaing. I did the marker line on the primary thing and it had about 1/4" left to the top. Stock Spring 3 shims, Stock weights 2.4 tip 0.8 inner, 46/42 cam. It's my 15 year old daughters sled so I'm not looking to have maximum performance. I'm Just more curious how fast this thing is really going. If I am shifted out to (1 to 1) that calculates out to about 95 MPH. I'm Kind of curious about the 1/4" of shift left at the top of the primary. Is that overdrive?
