how are you guys installing the rivets on the fly weights in the primary? Is their a special tool or is it a do it yourself job. I have ordered some rivets but have not seen this done yet. just preparing for the job. I have checked the tech threads just looking for the best way to do this.
I just squish them in my big bench vise, some people peen them over, whatever floats your boat, just so they dont come out.

thanks for the advice once again mrviper, those are the 4.5g weights in the combo we discussed for the 01 srx 700.
Is there 1 0r 2 holes to choose from on the weight itself?? As per the diagram in the tech section their seems to be 2 holes. if 2 which hole should i use.. Should i have (2) 4.5g rivets per weight??

you already have one 4.5 gram rivet in there stock, i will have to look up which hole its in, youll need to replace the smaller rivet with the 4.5 I told you to get, thats why you needed 3, because you alreay have 3 in there stock, yes when your done youll have 2 big rivets in each arm.
If memory serves me right, the 4.5 rivet is in the heel.

see #2 thats the rivet, they only show one but theres 2, and 2 holes if you can see them.#1 is the weight.
I was stuck one year on how to figure out how to punch in the new rivets. You need a strudy base of some sort. LOL I look on our front yard and saw a fire hydrent. Its got a big 1"1/2 square head type bolt and perfect to hammer on. 2 - 3 the good whacks of the hammer and there in and flat. Keep in mind they have to be flat enough to clear when the swing on the clutch.
