Hi folks:

First post ever. I wonder if anyone knows if it's possible to get an electric start kit for a 98 SRX 700 Triple, where to get one, and maybe an idea of cost. Thanks. Steve.

I could be wrong here but I have not heard of an electric start option for an SRX. Where ya gonna put that battery with those beautiful pipes all in the way!!
 
It was not an option on the srx, but people have custom fitted electric start to them before I believe. Do a search and we what comes up on the site.
 
Thanks SRX7. I guess I just need to get to know this baby and fiddle with the choke with just the right sequence. I don't mind working the muscles,but she's already given me one good workout and I would rather not end up with a dislocated shoulder. Big motor with a lot of compression if the pulling required is any indication. Steve.

Good point S.X. Those pipes actually sold me on the machine. Please keep me in mind and let me know if you come across anything. I'll keep hunting.. Thanks. Steve

Hi Yamaholic22. I tried a google before posting but gave up after three or four pages. I'm very mechanically inclined, and I'm sure I could rig something up, but I'd rather spend the money on something engineered and not butcher what I think is a beautiful machine, regardless of age. I'll keep searching for at least this season before I do anything drastic. Thanks. Steve
