Cleaned the carbs today and checked the fuel screw adjustment. Found all three carbs had fuel screw adjustments set to 2 1/2 turns instead of 1 1/2. Adjusted to 1 1/2. Started her up and the sled was bogging out when I would give it a snap of the throttle. Warmed it up and ran it across the ice and still had problems with the snap. Readjusted fuel screws to 2 1/2 turns and now she runs perfect. Checked the Yamaha spec and it is defiantly 1 1/2. Does anyone know if this is a problem?
Oh yeah, no altitude issue I live in NH.
Thanks,
Tim

The Vipers were usually lean stock. Your idle would be high after a run also. The fix is to richen it up.

I think most Vipers (stock ) are running about 2-1/4 turns, turning them in leans it out and you normaly get a high idle ofter letting off the trigger. If this happens just flip the chock lever for a second and the idle will come down.
