CONTEMPLATING ON CHANGING THE REAR ON MY VIPER?? ANY OPINIONS ON THE EXPERT-X OR THE NEW I THINK ITS ZX2?? NORMALL TO VERY AGGRESIVE TRAIL RIDING PERFORMED. LETS HERE IT GUYS :2strokes: :winterrul

I have personally and have known many others who have run the expert x and it works VERY well in rough conditions! If you like those conditions it is definately worth considering. I haven't rode any sleds with the ZX2 yet, but there is some feedback starting to come through for them and from what I've seen it seems people like them a lot as well. Do a search and see what you come up with.

Word of caution. I had the bolts on both the bottom shaft of the arms shear off. However, the ZX@ completely change the ride on my Rx1. Lots of travel. No more bottoming out.

Just over 500 K's on a used M-10 in a 03 viper, Wow what a difference over stock...theres a lot of opinions on what skid it better...All I know right now the market is flooded with used M-10's...reason being that most owners now are upgrading their sleds & want as much money they can get for it, so they separate M-10 & throw in the old one...you can pick one up cheap, or pay top dollar new...I know what I did...

Zx2!

I think the bolt shearing is a fluke. I have 700 miles on my ZX2 so far and no sign of bolt wear on the bottom arm. Check the torques and they are up to spec. Did you mount it completly straight in the tunnel? The ZX2 Completly changes the ride of a viper. Makes it alot smoother and this skid is great for an agressive trail rider. I found the faster you go the smoother it rides. It is great at low speeds in little dips and ridges, but as you pick up the speed it actually rides better through the choppier stuff. Weight transfer is awesome, can really get on the gas and come out of a corner. Easy to adjust both shock preload and weight transfer and the vertical down force of the shocks.

Good luck steve.

The harder the skid gets pounded the better it likes it.. It does have a little kick back if you hit something a little off. Its also has a lot less rolling resistance. I thinks it was the best mod per dollar I spent.
