Has anyone ever gotten a phazer to run decent (driveability,power) with tmx flatslides or roundslide carbs??? I have an 86 phazer bored 50 over, wiseco w/sx cut, porting, aaen can pipe, and gutted air box. couldn't dial it in with stock carbs, got 38tmx-still has no driveability... ended up going down to 17.5 pilots and 2nd leanest needles availible 260 mains, has anyone made this work? I also have some 38 roundslides here from a polaris

I ran one with flatslides off the 600 twin for years. Never had an issue with it other than the fuel tank was too small and I had to carry a couple gallons with me in can to get the same range as my wife's sled at the time.

Those Flatslides like to use Fuel no matter which engine they are on ! ? !
