I'm nearing the point of putting my motor back together and putting it back in. What's the best clutch tools I can buy? Price isn't really a concern, I just want something that's easy to use and will work good. I've seen all sorts of tools, but just looking for some input. Thanks, Drew.

I head back to school on the 13th from the Lower Peninsula. What day do you think you'll be up in Keweenaw? We'll have to exchange cell phone numbers so we can meet up. I'm pumped just to ride. Thanks, I'll get hold of Rich.

Not sure what days Ill be in Houghton as we are stopping there for a night at a hotel before we head up to copper harbor the next day. Would love to go for a night ride and catch some night life in Houghton. Ill have the MTN Apex so I wont feel all beat to hell and defidentally feeling up to it.

Oh and there are some blue prints of clutch tools in the Snowmobile Tech Section that you could print off and have a local machine shop do them up for you. I would for sure have a clutch weight rivet remover/installer tool made up.

I think the tool that Pioneer Performance sells for $50 looks like an easy to use tool. I didnt buy it as I found out that most all of the clutch tools do not work very well with electric start. I bought my clutch tools from Mountain Performance that are the separate offset and center to center tools for $38. The MPI tools are 1/2" thick aluminum that are powder coated blue. However, these still did not work well with my electric start. I wound up removing the electric starter ring in order to align the motor and clutches, and re-installing the starter ring when done.
