Well, I finally got around to taking some pics of my new ride with some of the Yamabucks goodies. The only thing I don't have on the sled yet are the A-arm protectors that 'gade-thrasher' from www.muffinworksltd.com sent me to try fitment on the Nytro(Phazer origionally), they're being re-powdercoated due to some modification to make them fit. I'm sure these guys will have the Nytro version ready soon if it's not already done.
I've put 16Kms on so far and I'm happy with my decision to go MTX. I changed the Primary spring to the low elevation one and put a 51/43 in the secondary wrapped to 80*. I'll have to play with the rear skid some as my fat has already bottomed it around home. It really hauls the mail and the transfer even on the MTX is very good. A little tippy in the corners yet but I'll get that hammered out.
With that said, here's the pics:

love it!
how much taller is that windshield?
And how does it protect you while riding? I assume the handguards work better than stock as well.
I rode a phazer fx with whatever it cmae stock with for screens (none IIRC) and it was a tad too windy for my tastes. I don't expect touring screen coverage, but some sort of wind protection at speed is a nice thing.

It's Yamaha's medium windy, it came with the low one. You can see the side profile of the stock one in my sig picture. It wasn't very cold out for my 16 Kms so hopefully I'm fine this season, I was too busy grining like a fool to check for wind around my knees and what not. The MTX didn't come with hand guards so those are out of the Yamaha catalogue.

awesome ride..if everything is good with them id like to purchase one in the next few years, only thing i hate about riding a mountain sled is in the corners its very tippy so you have to really slow down and learn hard into the corners..we need more pics of that sled in the deep powder!!!

Sweet looking ride. Now all you need is a Supercharger on there.

Supercharge? The thing already has enough power to separate your arms from your shoulders.... Very cool sled!

Keep us updated.
Yeah, a month or so ago I sent a picture via email of the Nytro RTX to a buddy of mine, and his first comment was " where is the windshield?" LOL
the stock low one really doesn't look like it does anything.
I will demo one of these in Early Feb, if I can wait that long. This new nytro really does appear to be the perfect sled for me.
