A high pitched whine seems to be coming from the chaincase. Oil looks fine, bearing in cover was good. Didn't check other bearings thought I would ask here before going that far. Shafts don't seem to have any play in them.
The noise is usually the brakes and chain whining and is more noticable slowing down. I think every viper does it. I was a bit freeked when i first heard it on my vipers. I have 2 04's and they both do it.
Back your chain tension off 1/4 turn at a time and see if gets quieter. Many run the chain too tight on these.
