I have an 02 viper that I have owned since new, i have never really cared for what I think is a stiff rear suspension. I recently read some posts on here saying that a Cat suspension makes a big difference. Would I have to make a lot of modifications to put one in my Viper?
Depends on what year and model skid you end up with. I installed a 2000 121" skid in mine and it was fairly straight forward. 4 new holes and a couple of reinforcing plates. Heres a link to the Install.

I used a edge in my RX1 which is a similar install in the viper. Soaks up the bumps soooo nice. I have it for sale right now a I got suckered into the ZX2 only because of the weight reduction. They ride fairly similar but the edge was better on small bumps on the trail, and the ZX2 will never bottom out which is nice.
