Question about clutch weights.

I just paid 105 canadian new...

6 rivets and 3 8bu-00 weights....


does that seem a bit expensive for weighs and rivets????

That is why I get mine used from members on here.Or order online from the states side is a little cheaper.Other examples are like plastic bushings.Canada $6 plus.From the states $2.99plus delivery.I ordered a wack of bushings from teamalpine .com.I will add delivery and duty and see how much cheaper it really is compared from my dealer locally.Will let you know.I know I saved at least $35 a OEM belt from Rich compared to here at home.I bought 4 of them and saved $140 .

Yep, sounds like Canadian pricing. I usually use anywhere from 30-40 bucks EACH weight to guess on clutching cost.

Yea that sounds about right. I think it was $40 per weight when I got my 8DN-20's from the dealer. Three weights and about 15 of each size rivet cost me around $160
