I need to replace the track on my 99 srx 700 and I know theres other posts on this but was wondering the latest opinion. What your opinion on a track for ditches(drifts) and trail riding. I thought the ice ripper 1.25 looked good since I dont want full studs but some braking help may be nice. Also 1.0 or 1.25? What do you guys think?

If your not worried about loosing 2-3 MPH on top end, I would go with a rip saw. Its 1.25 Its very very good for trail riding but not the choice for people that like alot of top end performance.
I have heard of the ripsaw, which part number would I need. Whats the benifit to every third window closed? And whats the difference in the clipping?

No part # on the track except if you want to look up the fische on Yamaha and buy a stock track from an Apex at the yamaha dealer price. Apex came stock with that track.
Just PM Bruce (2ooosrx) at CB Performance he will hook you up on a good deal.
I dont know why they clip every 3rd window on that track but If I had to gues it would be for added strength maybe?? Its just the design of it. It also means that you cannot use extrovert drivers with that track.
