Help needed, Suspention set up...

Here is the story guys. I have long travel shocks last season, kept the same transfer rods and straps ( they both worked ok i guess ) This year I bought long travel transfer adjustable rods form a Ty member. I just finsish with the install, I'm tired and I can't seem to figure it out.....
The back of the track is off the ground and the front is touching, if I seat on it the transfer rods don't even move and the rear shocks doesn't seem to be working good either....Did I install something wrong....I just took the four rear bolts drop the skid put the new rods and put all back in place.....
we have snow on the ground and I want to ride...help guys.....

I also need any tips to adjust my track is shited to the right...so I want to move it to the left what do I do...I read the manual but I must be stupid cause I can't get it .....Also how do the transfer rods work......?

to adjust your alignment if shifted to the right simply loosen the the rear axle nut ( you do not have to remove the cotter pin).

shifted to the Right = turn out left adjuster- and turn in right adjuster

shifted to the Left= turn in left adjuster- and turn out right adjuster

You will have to spin the track after each adjustment because there will be pressure on your rear boogie wheels. take your time.

Yea I do that and rev it slowly to see what the track does. It is easier if you have a helper to give it lite throttle.

So correct me if I'm wrong you mean turn out (loosen) turn in (thigthen)
If I turn the left one to the right I'm tighten and If I turn the right one to the right I'm tighten also....

I'll give that a try, but why my new transfer rods are not working the don't slide or anything.....and the back of my track is off the ground, I don't think I did anything wrong...
I have both rear shock set up half way on the threads...

Nicko you need to turn out left and turn in right adjuster. only due half a turns than check the alignment. Very important spin your track a couple of times after you make your adjustment!!!!!!

What kind of transfer rods did you get? I have the bender transfer rods and just set them up today. If yours are not bender I cant help you. If they are bender the more lines you see the less transfer I have mine set on the 4th line and that is perfect.

This are just stock yamha adjustable t rods....Anybody has any idea why the wont even slide.....and why the back of my track is off the ground like somebody is pushing dwon on the front.....I have long travel shocks all the way....and the straps are all the way loose but when the sled is resting they still have some play (a little loose) All seems fine but something is not working....

You didn't flip the back scissor around when you had the skid out and back in did you? That would cause similar problems. Buddy of mine did that on a cat skid one time.

I dont know if I get what you are saying but I just drop the rear and take out the shaft and put the new rod and bolt back the rear...I wil post a pic later.....Thanks Ryan.....By the way believe it or not I still haven't ride the phazer....I will by this weekend and let you know....Thanks again

The back mount point has the long arm coming out of the tunnel and the short arm off the rail. At the pivot point where they attach to each other a guy can flip the pivot forward (wrong way) or towards the rear of the skid (right way). Something to check. It's pretty easy to do, but I honestly don't know how it effects a pro-action skid.

I'm looking at a pic on the tech and that is the way to go so that is not it...what else....
I don't want to go to the dealer......

Ok transfer rods they do slide a little so they are working, my shocks are set as follow rear 1/2 way and center 1/2 way, stratps all the way loose....front ones are showing no tread. The rear of my track is still off the ground by like 2 inches.....

Wich way the T rods have to be to have the front end lift up, I mean little ski preassure....

If you have the straps as loose as they will go the rear of the track will sit off the ground when no one is sitting on it. Thats just the way you have it set. Right now you will get a ton of transfer, and very lite on the skis. I had a '97 vmax 600 for awhile and you want it set to transfer as much as possible. I would crank up those limiter straps. At least until they are tight when no one is on it.
