I picked up a viper with the saddleless skis and they have slop from side to side on the spindles. Should there be washers at each end of the sleeves that run through the spindles so that when you tighten the ski bolt it should tighten on the sleeve? Thanks for the help.

Did you also get the hardware for these. If you go to the online microfiche it shows spacers in those spots.There should be no side to side slop. Hope this helps... Soc

Thanks Soc, I check the parts listing & everything is there. I found the problem. The bushing in the ski is not much larger in diameter than the bore in the spindle that the spindle bushing is pressed into. This has caused the saddle bushing to wear a chamfer on the od of it allowing it to move into the spindle creating the side slop. I turned the face of the saddle bushing off .040 & threw a stainless washer in, now it is tightened up. Thanks
