I don't have my SRX here to measure it but if I remember correctly:
Stock bottom bumper height.......19 1/4
Long travel Viper shocks.............21 1/2

just long trav my 99 srx 700 and now it sits 23" from the bottom of the rear bumper. that is with a new 1" 1/4 ripsaw.

You want to set the rear shock pre-load so that you have 50/50 spacing on the control rods with you sitting on it. If you are a heavier person, then the bumper will sit higher [with no one sitting on it] than if the suspension were to be set up for a lighter person.
