I don't know how the trails will be after the rain we had this past weekend.... they might be OK.
Seeney is great but, we want to go a little further. In past years we have gone to Muni and Ishpming. What about Drummond Island? Any other good spots for the road trip?

Drummond island can be good, but they generally don't get much snow till later, february or so.I like like riding all the places that have been discussed, but you need to ride the keewenau peninsula and even points to the south of the peninsula towards lake Gogebic.Its an awsome area and you should experience it, a long ways, but worth it.Houghton is a good place to stay and you can use it as your base to head north and south both directions from there are great and have some nice diversity, just do it you'll have a great time!

If there is snow you could go to seney then drop south to trail 2 to Manistique then out to cooks, continue west then north or go north from there toward munising through shingleton to trail 8 then 88 to 888 in to grand maria or head back south to seney. We were up there last weekend and the trails north of Shingleton to about 40 miles south were good but, it was raining when we left on Saturday. The trails coming into town were getting bad when we left. Unless they got more snow you may have to stay north.
