Stiffer Spring

I'm looking for a stiffer "big" spring in my 98 600 mountain max since I'm a big guy...

Looking at the parts diagram I see the following:

SPRING 1 (K=3.5-5.3) AP
SPRING 1 (K=3.0-5.0) MM600AP

Which one is stiffer? What is "K"? How much stiffer? How do I determine how much stiffer I need? I have been searching and I can not find much spring info (snowmobile related) to help.

I checked on a Venture spring and it shows the 3.5 - 5.3 one.
Check with a dealer.

Maybe you should call Pioneer Performance. I am sure they could tell you. Pioneer Performance

Logically the Venture spring has to be stiffer designed for two people. My sled is basically the venture with a bigger lug track. Good point
