I have an ATACC on both of my 02 MM 700's and have not had a problem with them until firing them up this year. One worked fine and the other one was flooding the machine out. The gas was going the wrong way and coming up through the vent lines. What would cause this to happen. Is the unit bad, is there a possiblily of a stuck float. Since gas flooded the ATACC did it ruin it. Thanks for any help.

I have had this unit on the machine for 2 seasons now. No problems in the past. The vent lines are above the carbs. I did take the carbs off to have a look see and noticed that one of the floats was stuck. While I have the carbs off I am going to rejet and then we'll see what happens.

Don't get me started on the f*&*ing piece of funk ATACC. Take it off and your problems will be over. There are alot of guys on here that can help you with jetting and such, don't rely on an experimental, advertizing hype, piece of crap. Why do you think Yamaha got rid of the Smart Carbs.
I applogize to All, Just my opinion and experience.

I don't mean to be repetitive but are the lines straight up the whole way out of the carb? Even if they're above the carbs, if you have any sort of a downhill turn in them(towards the bulkhead) they can get fuel in them, even if they're above the carbs the whole way.

I still have to tune the fuel screw and needle setting on mine when riding at high elevation but I don't have to change the main jets at least.

I have had an ATACC for 1 year now. It has always worked flawlessly
Before I got my ATACC it would have been my Bender pipes in the garbage can. They were insanely sensitive to any altitude or temp changes.
Put on an ATACC and rode. No screwing around just riding.
I would not ride with tripple pipes without ATACC
By the way My ATACC is on a 01 MM 700

Reading this stuff just makes me confused 50/50 seems like they(ATACC) work awsome or plain suck i dont get it lol , I hate jetting these tripple are so sensitive vrs most all other sleds ive seen , every day i go its huge temp and altitude changes everybuddy else is just riding with no problems for the most part my polaris runs great sea level too 5000 feet never have to touch it ever cant say the same about these triples love em but hate them same breath

I first replied to this thread in 2008.
My atacc is still perfect.
My 01 MM ran perfect in all conditons with the stock pipe.
Installed Bender tripples and jetting became a nightmare
I spent an entire year screwing with Jetting.
Installed an atacc and have had no problems since.

call holtzman they are always eager to assist. i have tempa flo on 98 srx and attac on 01 srx i ride at 2000' and 7000' jetting yami tripples sucks

My experience is identical to M-Max's. ATAAC works well for triple pipes. Only issue ever was this year last day of riding season when it was like 55++ degree farenheit out. My sled was too rich to run right that day, as was every other carbed sled out that day -- was just too damn warm!

But otherwise makes riding easy and flawless!!!

ATAAC on 03 Mnt Viper with SLP Triple Pipes

aatac

i had the atac on two of my mtn maxs, burned then down. they work really well on the viper and polaris sled that vent in the air box, the mtn max vents out side the air box. holtz gave me my money back. call him and ask him about air box venting. brian
