repacking all the bearings in my rear skids yearly? I did this last year and you could never tell. The new Yamaha bearings I bought had nothing zip 0 grease in them? how is that supposed to last? I am really irritated that some of the bearings in the monoshock are not serviceable, you have to buy new at $50 a pop. Any input?

I never have had any issues on any of our Polaris idler bearings, nor on the bearings on my skidoo.

Sure, I have had a bearing or 2 go out while riding, but nothing major, or that would ruin your ride. And every 2-3 years I take the skids out and check bearings.

This venture is the first yami sled I have owned, and AFAIK, all idlers are fine, but I have no clue when / if they have been replaced if ever. just shy of 6k on it.

Rear skid comes out this weekend when i swap in the .92 studded track, so I will see what shape the idlers are really in.....

Cant NAPA cross match those bearings?? They are much cheaper that way or can atleast take measurements to get you the same dimension bearings. Not hard to pull the grease seal off and pack them yourslef. I redid all mine in the skid with lithium grease.
