anyone use Stop-Leak in their sleds coolant systems? My sons SXr has a pinhole leak in the side heat exchanger and I suggested stop-Leak. good idea/bad idea? Thanks guys

I would not use that crap in anything!!!!!!

take the whole sled to a reputable welding shop and have 'em weld it up,
it's easy and the right way to fix it.

Do what Daman said OR find that special rod that can weld diff. types of metals together all you need is MAPP gas to use it. I can vouch that the stuff works really good. I know harbor frieght carrys the rod, I just cant remember what its called. I but bought my pack at the sled show last year, the guy I obught it from is there every year doing demos.

Bad idea

Don't even try tohe stop leak. Take it to be welded as stated above or if you can find a used side heat exchanger from a sled being parted out on here then just replace it......might even end up costing you less.
