how do i clean my power valves???

Carbon remover in a arisol can is what i use others have tried oven cleaner but scratching the build up first with a razor blade not rubbing any grey ceramic off helps first for really bad build up.There is more posts on this if you search than any thing else on here.I spray the cabon cleaner in a small jug and let them sit for a few hours.

I use Sea Foam Deep Creep with a "Very Fine" Rotary Scotchbrite pad that I put on a cordless drill. Just press lightly so it only removes the carbon and not the coating, its easiest way Ive found so far. For the real hard stuff pick/scratch lightly with a razor knife.

LOL......Yea thats WAY MORE corse than what Im talking about. Steel wool works too but takes way to long and why too much elbow grease for me to mess with.

I have heard of people cleaning theirs with a brass wire wheel. Does it quick and wont harm the valve as brass is much softer.

Scotchbright pad any corse of it works best. You can buy the little brass parts cleaner scrub brushes in fine grades as well.

Yep tons of ways to clean them

I didnt have to clean mine this year. That amsoil good stuff. My valves were soaked with amsoil and just wiped off clean with a little residue left on them. No baked on carbon at all. Just a thin layer of black carbon that wiped right off.
