Guys, What do use at the back of your sled trailer to prevent sled carbides from catching the end of the trailer? I am carring a peice of plywood that works but just looking for other options? Pics please. Thanks Blue

i just drive them on. are your's catching and stopping the sled.

Yes, they are, My Viper has the doolies. It isn't bad if there is hard pack snow but with all the powder or hard pavement it's quite a quick stop! Larry been riding? I have around 600 miles on so far.

I took a piece of pvc pipe cut it in half and screwed (counter sunk the scerews) to the bed. Half of it over the metal lip. I was having a similar problem on my drive-off clam shell trailer. The pvc lasted one season, then I sold that trailer. This is the only photo I have, should just be able to see the white pvc.

yes i have maybe 300 or so had to give up early yesterday went up to corinth and rode towards guilford ran into so water in charleston behind the prison. ended up wading in knee deep water long story so that being said the 15 mi back to the truck were very long. i thought i read you have gone from newport to brownville which trail did you use. unless conditions got bad you were'nt on the same one i was it was in the bud i mean (mud) leavitt forest.

there is a new product that's in the back of snowtech it attaches to the back of the trailer and gives a little ramp up on the edge...CP

I was also getting tired of messing up my ramp and scraping up the driveway or
simply sliding it around in the garage(when not on wheels)...
I re drilled some holes in them and devised an awesome setup with bungies that
keep them from sliding off moving Forward or Reverse...works good...especially in the back of my truck...

Larry, Used ITS 85 from newport to Dover Foxcroft then up to Greenville, Trail was great! That was before the rain, Might ride same route today with the wife. We had no major wash out like you hit. Trail was overall really good even like late febuary riding! Lots more snow so hope its beck groomed and good! I will let you know! Happy New Year! Thanks Terry
