2000 SXR 700 with Aaen tripples, thin head gasket, reed spacers, 7.5 rear wheels, polaris front wheels, adjustable transfer rods.
50/40 helix with a green spring at 70 wrap. New cam shoes and totally cleaned clutches with scotch pad. 8DN10 with 3.1 gram in heel and empty tip, www primary spring. 147.5 mains and 47.5 pilots fuel screws out 2 turns.

The bottom end when you hit the throttle is not great until about 40kmh then she sounds and runs better. I have a slight over rev when I hammer the throttle it will go to 9200rpm and drop to about 9000. I will test the clutching under different conditions and may add some tip weight.
Also I have checked clutch alignment and adjusted belt deflection and still get a squeal at idle. The last thing is the rear skid. After adding the bigger wheels the track does not spin as freely as it did before.
I have not looked at any of these last little problems and was looking for some suggestions for these 4 problems.

I do love the mid range from these pipes and with the new clutching it rips my arms off.

no replies yet....where is Daman, Turk, and others that have been online today.
RECAP: bottom end throttle responce not great
slight over rev
belt squeele
rear suspension set up (track spin not free)

Out of curiosity what are those pipes suppose to run at? I have AAEN's on my Venom and they said that they're suppose to be at 8400 RPM's. Just curious to what differences they are for the 100 cc's of displacement.

Try loosening secondary spring to 60 wrap. I think it might work better at 2.4 gram inner & a .8 gram outer but i am 1000 milesaway so unless i can ride & see the tach it,s a crapshoot.

venonmod,

You get your sled put back together.

I will be at the Alger Falls Motel in Munising on the morning of the 9th if you wanted to go for a ride.
