hello all!
Been running the wheels in my head about a carb swap from the stock 33mm carbs TO: 36mm sx 600 twin carbs for somemore air flow. ANYONE DO IT YET???
PERFORMANE PARTS:
bender pipes /jetting(trail)
bender clutching primary/secondary (trail)
Carbon tech reeds/boysen cages + spacer kit
air box mod's
head shimmied 1 paper gasket
jug's ported (race) "unknown"
wiesco pro lights
NOTE: dyno tested at: 124hp before the head gasket shimmed...

stock rear skid with transfer rods,1.25 kimpex hole shot (no studs)..Up front stock other then "new" c&a pro razors up front 6" carbides..

up grades going for next:
the sled has all the goodys on it other then 136" kit/track,big bore kit, stroker kit"if any",And the carb swap if possible, lowwer end rebuild...
I know it sounds like over kill with the big bore kit but love the way the yammy's ride/feel..So not ready to give it up,And also to give my buddys edge 800 A run for his money LOL! polaris: clutched/piped some rear skid upgrades ,And i think some front suspension upgrades...

Bottom end torque reduced! I'm clutch at 4500 4700 rpm,do you have any idea what the clutching is for the bigbore kit?
Also any thoughts on the carb swap 33mm "stock" to some 36mm carbs off a sx 600??? I know if do it i would have to change the intake flanges, maybe the reed cages(600) air box to carb tube's(boots) with maybe some mods to the air box for the bigger boots..jetting will also be a factor with the bigger carbs, guess the stock jetting in the 600's will be a good starting point????
any help? Thanks
