I put a polaris track in my 02 Viper. We rode about 100 miles on Saturday. The miles on Saturday were in the woods and very twisty trails, so I never got about about 40mph. The next day I went riding and we were on a straight railroad grade, and I opened it up to 95mph. I heard a thud, and my track got really loose. All the adjustment bolts and rear axle were tight. The W arm seems to be ok. Where do they usually crack? My suspension apprears to be normal. The drive axle is still tight. There is no play. There doesn't seem to be any obvious problem with any bearings. Does anyone have any other suggestions as to why this would have happened? I adjusted the bolts, and the track got tighter, but there is a vibration. Something is not right. Help.

sounds like the bearing behind the speedometer drive dropped out
Something on the chaincase side of your drive axle? Was it hard to align your track?
