Hey all, and HAPPY NEW YEAR!! Just wondering, will a SRX w-arm listed for years 98-99 fit a 2000 straight-up, with some mods, or not at all? Had some health issues over last winter, so no work on machine. This year got my right arm with torn tendons, and now that i'm finally feeling 100%, this wknd in Rutland, VT i find a cracked w-arm. Not the end of the world i know, but needs to be fixed/replaced. Thanks to all, loads of knowledge and nice people make this a GREAT site!

can't be sure if it will fit
Go to Yamaha parts fiche and check out the #'s.Should be close. The best thing to do ,I had mine re-inforced with 1/8" plate and re-welded the whole arm and repainted it.Stronger then stock.

looked it up, Thanks
Thanks bluemonster1, after doing some homework, found the answer i needed. Just thought i'd get a jump on it by purchasing one i found, welding it w/renforced areas and some gusset work, then put that one in and weld up the cracked one for spare or sale or give away. Just my sled is stashed up in VT for a bit as my truck gave me some issues this wknd. All my welding fabrication equipment and shop area is here in S/E CT, as one would figure, ha. Thanks again for the reply, al
