Just curious if anyone has tried this track on thier yami? I installed mine last week and love it. Of course, with the snow fall we've been having here in maine its amazing for this time of year..the only bummer with this track will be having to do a track change every time i want to play on the ice, i'm curious as to how close 1.080 studs will come to that front exchanger without those gaurds :S

Are you thinking about running 1.080in. studs on a 1.25in. track????

no no, I have a 1" track with 1.080" new chisels in it..I was going to use that for ice just change the track out. I have to see if it will clear the front exchanger without the gaurds on it first.

I have an 1 1/4 shotgun on my 98 srx and it is pretty good. Awesome on the hardpack and groomed trails, not so great in the deep stuff. I guess a srx isn't made for real deep powder though anyway. Once I hit the deep stuff I pin it and don't let off or its digging and pulling time. No studs yet but it has pre cut holes down the center, but I'm pretty sure I would need the heat exchanger guards to run long enough studs.
