Are they OK for trail riding with the odd bit of deep powder thrown in, or are they mostly designed for lake running? I'm a little worried that my clutch might go KABLAM!!

hey thats not a bad price at all if they work as good as everyone says..that would mean no more waisting money on rivets and thats a good thing. I haven't done much reading on the h/c's yet but what does a guy do for a sec. set-up? i'm sure anything can be made to work after the primary is close right?

I have never tried them. I think they are popular for drag racing for sure. I don't want to tell you not to try them because..like I said...I haven't given them a try. I remember when my Viper was new, I had trouble getting it dialed in with the stock weights. I just couldn't get enough tip weight. I talked with Jeff Simons(Simons CPR) for awhile on the phone. We discussed different weight arm options. Jeff suggested the Heavy Hitters. I have now put about 4500 miles on mine and I am very happy with them. I was interested in the HC's too, but Jeff told me what I mentioned above....that they are good for racing, but I would have to mess with them more for changing snow conditions. I didn't want that I guess. He said once you get the HH's set, you won't have to mess with them again. I'd have to say that is true.....because I don't.
