Just trying to verify adjustments
2001 SRX 700
pilot air screw = 1 turn out?
fuel screws = 1 1/8 turn out?
pilot jet = 1 turn out?
is this right?

There is no adjustment for pilots jets (other than changing sizes). There also isn't an air screw. There are air jets but the only adjustment is changing sizes. You have fuel screws though and the stock setting is 1 1/8 turns out like you said.

fuel screw sounds right at 1 1/8 ,there is no other adjustable mixture screws in these carbs . poilets must be tight and the air jet in the air box side of the carb also must be tight.

Thanks for the input. I didnt think the pilot jets were adjustable but I read in one of the threads to adjust them as well. The air screw I was referring to is the screw at the bottm left of the front or mouth of the carb. Does this screw just tighten as well, no adjust? also in fact spec in ty tech, it says pilot air - 1. whats that?

Adjusting those Air/Fuel screws, doesn't that adjust mid range fuel (to a certain point before having to change pilot size), if I remember right? Still new to the carb tuning.

if your not quite sure what things are and where they are located, take a peek in the tech FAQ under carb clean 101 with pics of the various componets
