Hey there me and the boys are planning a trip up the surpentine and loop around up north past napisiqut then back down to miramichi. first off, how are the trails?. is there anywheres to stay the night. and how long would that take.? We went aways up the surpentine a little ways last winter and it was a awsome smooth trail. hoping to have a successful winter this year with lots of milage.viper700t said:miramichi NB..

A good place to stay would be popple depot. They have 2 cabins that sleep 13 each i believe an they r really nice. They also have awsome food an gas. So all around that would be your best bet an its only 57 kms from the serpentine lake. Its about half away from nepisiguit falls an serpentine. But if u want to go further north towards cambelton then u could stay at island lake. Its about 98 kms from serpentine lake. then its only 63 kms to nepisiguit. I never stayed there myself an never heard much about them. But all those trails r awsome up that way. They r prob the best around because they r all double groomed so u can hold her to the pin. haha

that is awsome information. i really appriciate it. I wonder if you can book the cabins in advance and who i would contact. I only wish i live a little bit closer so i could get on that trail every day. i was on the trail the end of last season in tee shirt weather it was amazing. we had no snow at home so it was great to get out the one last time. thanks again

just a thought, and since its an Nb thread i figured id ask..Where can we get 0 ethanol fuel? I know for a fact that the Lincoln Irving Big Stop has 5% in their fuel. I would like to find some at 0% here in NB and close to freddy if possible. We have an airport here so I wonder if aviation fuel might be an option. Any suggestions are appreciated.

i forget the guy that owns it, but if u search popple depot it should give u a number..i never stayed there before thats why i dont know but iv been there multiple times. Its a 2 hour drive for me to popple. So works out good for me. Its a really nice place in the summer too. They r open all year round which is good.

Mark is a great host and he has gas available on site.It wouldn't hurt to book in advance as he usually fills up especially on weekends and the accommodations are top notch.
As far as 0% ethanol I believe that only supreme is absent of this dreaded stuff but don't by any means take my word for this I only remember reading this somewhere.
