sled has a horrible bog in deep snow and i got to get rid of the bog. it's pretty well unridable when it starts to bog. just seeing if anyone knows where a guy can get an exhaust deflector.

Mtn Max maybe try 2000 or newer in years. You want me to order you one? Or you could put a 2 x 4 with some wood screws through the belly pan!

 :Moon: :D:DP :na

Just what kinda shop you running down there? :bump: :postwhore

I suggested a Mtn. Max deflector too but I wonder if that will work good enough for his Hauck Growler stingers? They are kinda spread far apart, the one deflector made for a single exit silencer might not do the trick. You'd know better than me Allen.

or i might have to sell the new style growlers and get the old style. they all exit out the stock hole.

thinking about selling the sled though and getting me a long 4 stroke. ulmer you got any rx1 mountains 4 sale.

if some one can post a pic of what it exactly looks like and a pi of the growlers i could make up a carbon fiber or aluminum one.

here is a pic of the growler right from haucks website. is the one piece suppose to be a deflector. i wasn't sure so i never put it on. i have the 3 seperate stingers. the one metal piece with the 3 holes sits at the bottom of belly pan for the stingers to exit out of.

The one metal piece is a shock tower protector. It is meant to stop the hot pipes from melting and rubbing on the shock towers.

jr_amsoil, I have a 2003 RX-1 mountain sitting here right now. Less than 1000 miles on it with Bender turbo installed $8,000. Come pick it up.

i would love to have a turboed monster in my possession but my wallet will not let me for awhile. if i sold some of the stuff i have i would be that much closer.

you guys been sleddin in the hills at all here they have some pretty good snow. think we might be getting a lil crew to go out next weekend. see if we can't find some stumps.

anyone know if a regular mountain max deflector will work with the hauck stingers. have plans of goin sleddin soon where there's over 4 foot of snow and need the problem cured.

I would be willing to send you some nomex. I have been using it for heat shields for years. I made a nice flange for my aaen pipes on my sx700 where the stingers go through the belly pan. It looks like cardboard, about 1/4" thick, you can have direct contact from your pipes, and it resists water too. They manufacture it 10 miles from my house (dupont patent) so I have a pretty good connection. I have been working off a 4x8 sheet for a few years now. Let me know if you need a chunk.

not sure how that will work as a delector with stingers spaced apart like on my sled. you guys think if i put 2 mountain max deflectors on that it would work.2 stingers exit out stock hole. and one is back about 4 or 5 inches
