I have about a 1974 Yamaha Tl433F that runs well. It has a "hydraulic torque converter with quick change" When I ride it for more than an hour or 2 the pink transmission fluid spits out of it I am wondering if anyone knows how to fix it or wants to buy it or has the part I need. I believe that it just has a ding in the radiator that cools the tranny fluid and that it just needs a weld or sodder to fix it. I am in Minnesota

ok not very experianced with those but a buddy had a problem like that and his cooler lines where on backwards. quit spitting as soon as he switched them.

the other way to check for a hole is to take the lines off, plug one hole and apply pressure to the other end. i would use a new peice of line and blow in it as compressed air might be too much pressure.

contact Ron Dyke....he is a collector of these hydralic sleds. Has bought some of my stuff and is a great gut to deal with

goes by hydralicron

....Good to "see" you ...Happy new year and all that....
I still haven't had a sled out ..still working on Bill's affairs
Hope you have been out for a race and some fun.
Your old TL is still in ThunderBay but might find its
way down in Feb..Ryan's came down in the summer.
I have the garage full of Bill's stuff which is one excuse
for not being able to get a sled out.
