Anyone try this? Would it work?
Looking at a couple SRX's and first thing on my list is to change the entire suspension...front and rear. Looking to try something new and different. I have not seen any posts on this front end change. but I assume it has been done already?
Thanks,

I think he used the lightweight front end kit then bolted them onto that, so im wondering if that 44" front-end makes it more float friendly so to speak, i plan on putting them on the srx this summer probably
The Floats on my SRX are longer due to the wide front end that I have on the sled, and would not work with a stock front end.
I would suggest getting in touch with Mike Carver at Carver Performance in Thief River Falls, MN. Let him know what the eye to eye length is on the stock shocks, and see if he could come up with a Float shock with the similar length.
That's what I ended up doing. The floats I'm using were from an Arctic Cat application. I ended up getting them revalved due to the big difference in the A-Arm geometry that they were designed for.
