Hey guys I want to pull my seat off because I have some staples that have pulled out.
On the back of the seat there are two bolts that look like they come out of the seat and into the tunnel and there are a phillips head screw up at the front of the tunnel. One on each side, right where your legs are. Are these the only things i have to undo to take the seat off?
Also I have tried to get these two philip head screws off and they are both seized. If I grind the head off can I just retap the threads when the seat is off?
Thank a ton fellas.

Yes Matt just the two blots on back and the two screws in front.(watch the wire for the tail light)
can you use vice grips on the front two, or cut a slit in it with a dremil
tool so a srew driver will work???

I had problems with the front two also, be very careful as the gas tank is right behind them. I tapped mine out to 1/4 x 20 standard thread and used a bolt on install.

I just used a dremel to make a slot in it. Took a nice big screw driver and I got them out. Then those two bolts at the back. Easy off!

Thanks alot guys. Starting on Sunday we have a big stretch of warm weathor coming in up here. So next week I will get this seat off.
Thanks for the help. I will try vice grips then if that doesn't work I will try the dremel trick.
