So i am tinkering around with my SRX and keep reading that people use bolts and nuts instead of the rivets.....where do you get them, size, weight, cost, etc???? Hardware store???? Thanks Dave.....can you then change the tip and heel weight w/o primary removal???? That'd be great!

you just need a digital gram scale, a clutch compression tool and then you can change the weights and such with out removing the clutch from the sled and you know exactly what weight you have, the bolts and nuts can be used from any hardware store. The only thing you need to watch is they dont hit the rollers(stick up above weight surface) and they clear the inside of the spider.

thanks mr viper, did you get my pm a couple days ago about porting???? What kind of compression tool??? which is the best fit/type to get???

porting?? who knows cant remeber too many to think about, I clean them out everyday because thry fill up the memory, sorry if I did not reply I delete some by mistake all the time.

the compression tool is available thru hi perf engineering, possibly rich motorsports from here might be able to get one for ya. It is very easy to use and a god send, you just insert the fork behind the spider and push on the handle, it compresses the spring and you place a simple "U" clamp that comes with it over the sheaves and it keeps it compressed, allows you to remove the weights and change rivets, add bolts etc to it with out removing the clutch from the sled or taking off the clutch cover, really easy.
