I had to get new ski bumpers, since my old ones were really soft. Anyway's I was thinking instead of shimming them that I would grind off the ledge on the bottom front of the rubber. I don't see how the shim can be effective, when there is that quarter inch ledge on each side. So I figured if I grind the front off, that would allow the rear to be higher forcing the ski tip up. I don't want to shim from the top again, since that seems to destroy the rubbers. Any feeed back would be apprectiated Thanks
