I just purchased some of these for my 98 srx. can anyone tell me what the gap is suppose to be set at?

thanks

NEVER gap an iridium...the tip is to delicate...they are already pre gapped...as most plugs are today...maybe 10-15 years ago you needed to gap plugs but not now a days...cheers

Like TB said there too delicate, should be gaped already, you can "check" them tho with a feeler gauge, should be around .028-.030ish

I THINK I TRYED THESE AWHILE BACK , REALLY DID NOT NOTICE DEFFERENCE. I HAVE HAD GREAT LUCK WITH BR9ECS. JUST LIKE 8DN BELTS. PROBLEY STAY PUT !! 3:16 (yammie tony)

I just went and bought some of these plugs. It was $22.20 for 3 of them. They have a 2 year warranty on these too so if one fouls out or something you can just go get another one free. :jump: I highly doubt I'll ever foul one anyway but it's nice to know you can get them replaced for free since they cost so much more than the regular BR9ES's.

I have the denso Iridium, 10$ or so per plug, But they work great, no fouling.
Excellent, Some say they are to expensive, But I would spend that on BR9ECS
for 2 or 3 sets in one season..

What's special about these iridiums? Do they burn a bit hotter? Cleaner? I'm just curious. I haven't had a problem with fouling a plug in over a year since I started tuning my pipes. If they're worth it, maybe i'll get some.

Everything works a little better, Starts easier, fouls less and starts easier if it does get foiled. I can't prove it but seems like a little more hp. $6.95 each at my local auto store.
