when cleaning the primary should you also clean the center shaft that the belt sits on before engagemnent. I am gettint belt squeel and have adjusted and checked center to center and offset. I added washers to the secondary, removed to try the belt at different hights and still squeel when warm.
If I grab the belt when at idle the squeel stops.

you want to remove washers to give more deflection(ride lower in secondary)

i never clean it, it always stays shined up(clean)from the belt riding on it.

The ridges in the belt are just passing the top of the clutch. If I remove washers it will be below the top of the clutch. I will try it again. I remember removing a washer last season and still squeeled

it is the 00. I will set it to flush and hopefully its gone. I hate when I stop around other sleds and squeel....I always get the look.
