How to adjust the tps? I´ve measured mine 750 ohms at idle going up to 3250 ohms at full throttle. I have no problems, just want to be sure everything is OK. I made a search and what I found is that it´s only adjusts part throttle ignition curve and only make difference on part throttle milage. I think my srx 2001 use a little to much gas. I´ve cleaned carbs, power valves and clutches. Have made some tuning in clutches, 4.5 rivets softer primary spring(don´t remember which) 51/43 dalton helix green sec. spring @60 engagement at 3500rpm and shifting at 8300-8600rpm. runs great only uses a little to much gas.

great info
Thank you very much daman!
Thats the info I needed, only a little part missing. In the end of the instruction it says "adjust tps to obtain specific voltage" And the question is what value should the voltage be?
Thanx again for a fast answer

nope that was it you need to calculate the two readings(B&A) to get the spec..
read it again
read it again
thanx
Thanx again, I missed that I should move the voltage meter from 1&2 to 1&3 between the reedings.

good luck, keep us posted.........
need more snow
I will keep you posted, and I think I should measure at idle because measure position is not specified? Sorry about some extra posts but maybe that english isn´t my normal language is the explanation.

ok
my tps seems ok 4.36 volts in at connection 1&2, gives 0.59 volts between 1&3 and according to the instructions (4.36*0.136) it should be 0.593 so I think it´s perfect.

Can't get much closer then that..lol
Ok, now I now that my tps is probably ok. I´ve read that you (daman) use about 12mpg. I understand that our trails are very different so I don´t expect same mpg as you but. Why my sled get 8.5-9mpg my friends srx´s get 10.5-12mpg? Not a very big difference but I think it´s strange. I cleaned my powervalves, carbs, leftside driveshaft bearing was broke so I have new bearings stock track and everything seems to turn easy. My sled has about 3000 miles on it.

Hmmm...dunno what to tell ya,sounds like everything is ship shape(from this
side of the computer anyways), my SRX is all stock as does your's by the
sound of things, is your jetting right on with '01 spec's??
you should definitely be getting better then 8-9 mpg, wow

everything is stock, jetting also checked it when cleaning carbs. I understand that I will not get same mpg as you(because difference in trails, speed and temp) but I should get same as my friends running same trails at same speed. Or maybe their lying about their milage? I don´t think so.(OK I´m always ahead of them so a little diff. I can accept)

Now when i'm bust'en powder(working it harder) milage goes south some..
does your bud have the same clutch set up?

Hell my v-4 will get 9-10...lol
The milage is realy not a big problem (ok maybe a big problem but can´t make it any other way, gas in sweden cost about 7.50$/gallon) .My problem is why the diff. between the sleds? I will look deep into it only problem we have no snow. I haven´t seen so little snow in my life.
