I have a muti-angle helix on this sled I just bought but I can't figure out what the angle is....the only number on it is 6MS9...maybe its a Bender..?? thanks in advance for your help.
thats a old maxx performance number, they unfortunately went out of buss., what great people to deal with.
you can find out what the angles are if a machine shop in your area has a digital cad machine using the XYZ program can map out the ramp.

You can actually get very close using an angle finder on a level surface also but not quite as close as a digital cad machine.

Or, you can wrap a thin piece of cardboard around the helix, trace one ramp, lay it flat and use a protractor, extend a line off the first half of the angle, then the second half of the angle, gets you close, gives you an idea.

I have a 6ms7 helix and am trying to find out the helix angle as well. I traced out the profile onto a piece of masking tape that I had stuck to the side of helix ramp and then measured with a protractor. I came up with 51/48. Does that sound right or even possible?
