i am looking for better light for my 98 srx....i know the stockers are 55/60 can i get away installing a 90/100 if i install a led tailight bulb??? anybody know the wattage of a stock 1157 bulb???i am running a heated shield and handwarmers/thumbwarmers all the time...also has anybody run the blue 194 dash bulbs???

I ran one in my old 98 srx with a led tailight bulb, its was OK, but it will still dim down when you apply the brakes some, its not too bad, it did help alot.

the one I used Kyle was a lockhart phillips, I recall it being a 80/100 watt.

On cars the biggest issue with stronger bulbs is often that the plastic reflector could melt or be discolored, just a little something to think about!

I have been running a 85/100 bulb in my 99 for years with the led tail light. It does help alot, but when you switch beams it dims down real bad for a second. I was thinking of trying out a Phillips Crystalvision and see how that is.

I've been using a PIAA Xtreme White Plus 55/60 with the output equal to 100\110 with a led tailight for three years in my sx without a problem. One of the best upgrades I did on the sx.

i installed a 55/100 xenon ultra blue( i think) and a led tail light on my sx ..no problems with low dimming and the bright, lights up the trail!
