I have an 02 viper with simons cpr triple pipes simons cpr head vforse 3 reeds and custom clutch set up, went for a ride yesterday and the sled has no low end, i wack the throttle and it just boggs really bad then it takes off. only thing i did ws put on a new belt and it is the correct one for the sled any ideas?

I seemed to have the same problem with my 02 also. It turned out to be a piece of dirt in the main jet on 1 of the carbs. Runs great now.

make sure your cluthces are not hagging up on engagment as well. Put it on a stand and see how the clutches work.

Plugs may be nice after a wide open run, thats your mains sending the fuel, you could be lean on the bottom and not see it with a plug chop. What are youre fuel screws set at? try putting the choke on half way when taking off, if it seems better turn the fuel screws out. Im not saying this is youre problem but its a issue i had, bushing on my helix poped out once too that gave me a bog off the line.
Good luck
Pat

Does it sound any different than normal? like louder and real (pingey) I had this problem when I raced motocross. Drove me crazy as well. Turned out my powervalve was stuck open. In my opinion it sounds like a clutch problem or a powervalve problem
