Can someone tell me if any stock Yamaha plastic skis from later models will work on the T.S.S. style Phazer?

I think there was a shoe kit for the skis that started in 1997, but good luck finding one. The trailing arm shoe is different.
The pre 1997 plastic ski will work with the right shoe. The original USI ski will work also- the 201 was the same ski and I think the 301 used the same shoe.
Someone posted here once that the newer skis will work but a hole has to be cut for the rubber block.

This is the swap that I am interested in as there are a lot of these skis available over on the 4 stroke forum. I also have a Vector and would like to get some C&A's for that and use the take off skis on this Phazer if I could get them to work. Any mods needed to the skis? I'll see what I can come up with on a search when I get the time. Thanks guys.

Great! Please let me know!
i test fit them today, you will have to make the same spacer on the shaft as described in the link, and for the saddleless i'll have to cut out plastic brace just in front of the mounting holes in order to make clearance for the TSS spindle to bolt on. it shouldnt hurt the integrity of the ski and i may bolt a small spacer in front of it just to add the strenght back. a little may have to be shaved off the lower part of the mounting to be able to use the exciter rubber boot. a few small mods and i'll have them bolted on. i'll post pics when they are installed.
