I,ve change the rear shocks on my sx to long travel, and lengthen the straps. I have max per. transfer rods.. was wondering ..Do i need to change the plastic spacers on them from the stock setup that maxx per. reccomends for the sx?

Depends on adjustment range
If your top block is too small you may get too much transfere when you don't want it. This could case your steering to become light or "push" when exiting corners. If the block is too tall you won't get the full range of ajustment offered by the rods. This may cause excessive track spin when trying to drag race. It really depends on your riding style and how much adjustment you want.
As far as the bottom block your best bet is to run what they tell you.

I long travelled my 97 sx and used Viper specs to put it back together. Since the skid is not an "sx" skid any more I put in the Viper limiter straps and transfer rod bushings. Works great.
