I have seen some people on here mention that they have a studded phazer. Maybe you guys don't still have the stock track because I the shortest studs that I have found are .75" which I have read are too long for this track.

The track spins a little bit as it is taking off stock, and now I am modifying the phazer so I am wondering what I can do. I might get a larger lug track in the summer for next year but for this winter I am going to be running the stock track.

I put 96 .875's in my stock track. This track has the smallest lugs of any track out there I believe. I used hockey sticks as tunnel protectors. It worked great. use the .750 and you'll be even safer. I think they come in 7mm.

I wasnt going to stud mine but now I am going too. I believe I found your hockey stick protectors searching google, or at least somebody else with a phazer. Looked like it worked good.

How is the hookup with 96?

when i did mine i was younger with no sled experience it hooked good i only put them in the middle i did not follow a pattern because i did not know back then but 8000 kilos no troubles

It hooked up really well, and stoped very well also!
Here are some pics.

Oh how I miss that PZII. I really should have kept it. I bought it used, doubled up the KMS in two years and then sold it for what I bought it for. ($1550 Canadian) I just bought my Viper last year.

Studding phazers

I have my 1989 phazer studded with a bender patern . Bought it in the eighties . It has every other row on the outsides and one in every middle row . Studded all my exciters and polaris sleds with it , works great . I will look for it , if i find it i will post it .
