I don't know if the clearnces are the same on a Viper...we put a Ripsaw on a 2001 SX-R and studded it last year. We had to clip the tips off the track where the tunnel protectors are and made a new thinner heat exchanger protector up front so it would clear. The under side of the tunnel is showing a very little bit of rubbing from the studs. The front heat exchanger has a little bit of damage on the fins from the studs as well. Not too bad either place.
We put a 136 on my SRX this year and opted for a Hacksaw because of the clearence issues experience with the Ripsaw.
