anyone have the spec sheet from PSI for the single pipe on the EX570? i'm wondering what their jetting recomendations and cluching recomendations are for that pipe. i'm running vmax 600 flatslides with stock 156.3 mains and the 52.5 pilot jets. I did this on an exciter once before and I beleive I went with a 160 or 165 main? anyone have any suggestions or the info from PSI would be great! my EX is an 89 model if that matters. Carbs are from a 94 VMAX 600.

I have my pipe on, but haven't switched over the carbs to flatslides yet. Will let you know what I find out when they go on.

I'm doing the same, looks like 150 main, stock pilot, stock clutch set up, need to keep the rpm around 8000 rpm. I am running duals and 152 MJ, 3rd clip position seems too rich still from plug chops, been cold too, 150 is the recommended jet size for my elevation of 2300'.

i have the psi datasheets i got from ramblnman, and they go for both single and dual pipes. The info is offcourse for roundslides, but i could send them to you if you feel you can get something out of it,its something there about clutching to i think

i have sx carbs with stock jetting specs on my 87 exciter and it runs good with the psi pipe.could probably drop the main jet 1 size but i like the added insurance! with the way gas quality is suffering, need all the insurance you can have from burndowns!

i've been running mine the exact same with no problems either. runs a bit rich when the outside temp goes up , i think i developed an air leak in my flange, the idle likes to run away from me for some reason suddenly.

I used to run 150s on my 1993 SX570 with a single pipe on it. I never had the PSI, but I did own a DG which was a direct copy of the PSI (they got in trouble for copying....long story) and I also ran the Bender single with same jetting. That engine is pretty forgiving with a single pipe. Twins......different story as usual. I believe the flatslides from the Vmax were 38mm.......which is what the Sx570 was.....should be close. Come to think of it.........do you have direct oil injection? I did (installed it myself) which does let you run a leaner main jet. If not, I would try 155s.
