I have a '98 Srx 700 that has had a roller plate in the secondary since new. Has worked absolutely flawless for 6800 miles.
Issues: The roller wheels broke apart recently as I was going over the sled. I have new wheels coming for the plate and while disassembling the clutch I noticed that the 8bv50 helix had got some minimal scuffing on the outside edges of the ramps. I think that I could file the out and smooth it down a little if this is acceptable?? It had been riding on the wheel pins that hold the wheels if you understand what I mean.
I also found a 8bv51 from a Sx-r700 that was laying around. Would it be better to use the 51 since it is new?? Or would this greatly affect performance?? I noticed that I just have a black spring and set at 3 on top and 3 on the bottom.
I checked the charts and didn't see this on there. I am not a cluth guru as I have never had to do anything to this.
Thanks for any help!!

if that is the roller plate that works with stock helix's the 8bv50 and the 8bv51 are the same 45degree helix.
