I want to pull those 2 vertical dividers out of my airbox for some more airflow, the only other thing done is the boyesen power reeds (because the stockers were getting worn) What do you think for jetting ecspecially the needle position? stock mains are PTO 146.3 center 146.3 MAG 150 pilots are 47.5. For mains I was going to try PTO 150 center 147.5 MAG 147.5, leave the pilots and maybe open the mixture screw a half turn, needle position I'm not sure about leaving stock or richening a clip position.

I owned 2 600 SRX,s & I vote that you don,t touch the airbox.

yea turk maybe i'll just do that, the thing goes pretty good in stock trim for a 600. I have some heelclickers I could drop in if i'm going to do anything. there's a good chance I may be looking into selling the sled anyway.

not what I origanlly asked but did the 600 SRX's ever have that problem with the wiring harness rubbing through under the engine? or was that only '00 and later sleds?

all of the srx's from 98-01 had the harness problems.
you can remove the 2 vertical dividers, but leave the flat shelf stock in the middle.

OK thanks mr. viper, I think i'm going to just leave the airbox stock and probably sell the machine, i'll look into the wiring harness thing also, what are some of the major symptoms of a harness thats been rubbed through?
