Just wondering if a 1.250" lug Ripsaw track with 144 studs will fit my 02' Viper without interferring with my front heat exchanger. It has 2 aluminum protectors at the front. The stock track doesn't get me anywhere in the loose stuff and I think a more aggressive track will help but it seems most of the guys are running 1" tracks, is the 1.250" too big?. I don't want to change sprocket sizes.

I have been doing some checking around and you can run a 1.25 track without studing if you want to stud it you have to switch to 8 inch drivers you have to take them out to change your track anyway so its not that bad to change them there about 160 for the pair you will hit the cooler if you don't switch them

If I change to 8" drivers would I also have to mess with gearing to make up for the smaller size drivers?

I'm not 100 percent sure I am doing it to my sled right now i can let you know in about a week but i was told it don't make that much of a difference I am going to 8 tooth drivers 136 -1.25 ripsaw track with extenders and woody stanless studs

Likely you will need to change your gearing too, not that hard, as you will have the chaincase apart to swap the track out.
